New Obsession: Historical Dates

Ok, so here is the deal, lately like I said I have been obsessed with everything, but there are some things in particular....

1. Historical Dates
Ok, I know most people are going to think I am lame for saying this but I think history dates are a great way to spend quality time with your love, while also learning something new (perhaps even about them!) This past week me and my boyfriend went to New Bern, where we went on a historical tour, we saw Tryon Palace which used to be the resident of North Carolina's Governor in the 1870's, we also saw some buildings that have been around since the 1800's, and learned a little bit about how people lived (like did you know that people used to eat off of their knife, NOT their fork? A fork was used to push or shovel food onto the knife, which then people would eat off of, neat huh?) Then we moved on to the birthplace of Pepsi, which was created by Caleb Bradham, a pharmacist in New Bern (we didn’t stay long though because I despise Pepsi (Coke all the way! : )
We finished up the date with a nice waterfront stroll, and a delicious seafood dinner at MJ's Raw Seafood Bar ( had Tritan Tri-Bake which was out of this world!) The date was a complete success and we went home happy, educated, and full without spending a pretty penny.

EVERYthing!

So lately I have found interest in, well, basically everything! I am obsessed with weddings ( perhaps because my best friend if getting married), with traveling (perhaps because I am going to Italy), with job searching (perhaps because I don't want to be living on the street come July) , and anything else you can name. So of course I have decided to blog about it, but one small problem is that my other blog is basically centered around quotes, and sometimes I can not use others words to describe my feelings, so thus, is the birth of this new blog, about, well, everything!
So sit back and enjoy a little peek into my crazy mind. : )
